Entry Policy


  • Preference will be given to returning teams until July 15th, 2014.
  • All entry cheques are to be made payable for August 15th, 2014.
  • A team must send a post-dated cheque to guarantee their entry.
  • We will return (or destroy) cheques if the team decides to drop out prior to August 15th.
  • If the event is full prior to the August 15th, teams may be placed on the waiting list and do not need to send a cheque.
  • If a spot opens up, the first team on the waiting list must provide verbal commitment within 2 days (e-mail or phone) and has 2 weeks to send us a cheque, otherwise they forfeit their spot to the next team on the list.
  • A team on the waiting list may choose to send us a cheque to guarantee they get a spot should one open up.  We will return (or destroy) cheques for waiting list teams who do not get a spot.
  • On August 15th, all cheques will be cashed and all entries become final.
  • If a team wants to drop out after the 15th, we will only issue a refund if a paid replacement can be found via the waiting list.
  • If no replacement can be found, the committee will put together a fill team.  Should the fill team manage to win money, the cost of the entry fee will be deducted from their winnings.
